Water resistance

1

Part 1 of 2

The origin

WaterRower was invented by John Duke. A rower with the Yale university team and the US national team, he set out to rediscover the sensations of rowing, but indoors.

WaterRower works on the principle of drag force. The resistance is proportional to your effort and there is no risk of overload.

The more pressure you exert on the WaterFlyWheel as you row, the faster the paddle will push a given amount of water.

The resistance of WaterRower depends on the power of your stroke and automatically adapts to all users.

The faster you row, the greater the resistance.

The benefits

Water resistance :

- Increases your physical and emotional well-being: light, intense activity...

- Generates fluid movements, without impact or twisting: protects joints.

- Self-adjusting resistance: no need to adjust the resistance, it adapts to each user.

- Adapt: the more powerful your stroke, the greater the resistance.

- For silent, soothing sessions: let yourself be carried away by the sound of the water as you work out...
